I used to write blog called Land-o-Lulu, which started out as a personal blog and became more of a travel blog once I moved overseas. I finally closed it down because while I loved having a lot of readers, the earlier, more personal stuff seemed out of place in a blog that was easily discoverable by students and their parents. While I love Facebook, and spent far too much time on it, I have missed having a forum for longer essays, and other types of writing. I am hoping that this blog can become a venue for those sorts of pieces, and for my travel photographs and musings. Because I intend to leave this blog open to the public, it will be less of a public confessional, however I hope that it is still personal, still funny, still Lulu.
